Three More Headlines For Your Arsenal

Try these three great proven headlines this week and Prepare for great results.

  1. Feature your offer in the headline. This approach works best when you can compress the following elements into a very brief statement: Name your product Focus on some unique aspect: quality, price, limited quantity, payment plan List the benefits the user will experience Add an element of urgency Tell the reader exactly what to do to take advantage Take your time to craft this right, and the response will pay off. See how nearly all these elements are present in an offer I found just this week (Note, the benefit is in the name of the product):
    • TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS LIMITED TIME SPECIAL OFFER!! GET THE BRAND NEW NATURALAXER CURL SOFT SHAMPOO (8oz) AND NATURALAXER MOISTURE CURL CONDITIONER (8oz) JUST $16.99 FOR BOTH FULL SIZED PRODUCTS!!! INTERNET ONLY OFFER - ORDER MUST BE PLACED ONLINE.
  2. Make a Free Offer. The word “free” has been somewhat overused, especially on the Internet. For this reason, you will need to build perceived value even into your free offer. You are sampling your product or service, and if the sample is not valuable, the message will be conveyed that your service is not valuable. Here are some currently active examples:
    • Limited offer: Drive Denali for free
    • Get Our Entire IT Course Library FREE! Targeted prospects will swarm your site 24/7! Just 5 minutes to set-up, it's automated, "viral" and proven - and best of all it's FREE!
  3. Offer Free information. Once again, the information you offer is a sampler of your credibility and the value of your product or service. If you create an e-book, offer one or two chapters free. Create a special report on a problem or need for which your product is the answer. Offer your information product as a purchase bonus, or incentive to subscribe to your e-zine. Here’s an offer I came across that is meant to create an impression of incredible value:
    • Your search is over! You have found your one stop site for completely FREE information about everything related to weightlifting, bodybuilding and fitness… plus every thing else you need to know in order to get the body you want! And yes, that was not a typo, everything on this Web site is 100% FREE! I'm not trying to sell you a damn thing!

Remember, the most important thing at this point is to build the number of people in your target market who recognize your credibility and the value of your service or product. This lays the foundation for the sales that will follow. Practice these headline styles as you write and as you speak about your business this week.

Try email marketing. It's fast, easy and inexpensive so you can communicate with your market audience on a regular basis and stay "top of mind" to them. I use iContact. It has all the features you need:

  • Contact management, ability to create and format emails, blogs and RSS feeds, autoresponders for series, a sign-up form for your Web site, excellent training in how to use the tool and more.

Please take a look at this powerful tool. It is central to a successful email marketing program. Don't try to patch your email marketing together with Outlook or some other less powerful program. It simply won't work.
