The Business Card Binder (continued)

1 | 2

I carry two business card binders:

  • One for my fellow BNI members
  • One for additional businesses my clients tend to need that are not represented in my chapter.

I keep the binders stocked with business cards from three primary sources:

  • BNI chapter member cards I restock every week when the BNI binder is passed.
  • Visitors to my BNI chapter (the arborist I mentioned above was actually a visitor to my chapter).
  • Cards from the members of other BNI chapters I visit.

Others in my chapter are using the BNI business card binder as a tool to generate referrals for me, resulting in more business for everyone!

Purpose

Use your business card binder as a tool to help you capture those brief windows of opportunity when referrals come naturally.

Benefits

  • More referrals and business for everyone.
  • Referrals that happen naturally without a lot of work.
  • Instead of chasing clients, clients come to you.
  • Build greater credibility with your clients as equipped to help them with a variety of needs.
